Business Applications Teamleader performs operational and level 3 support for production business applications.  Responsibilities include the daily management of incidents, operational maintenance and support, development support, and proactive/preventative analysis of systems.  This role operates in a supervisory and/or technical lead capacity involving supervising and counseling staff, delegating and coordinating work assignments of support personnel and being the point-person for issues and needs, as well as hands-on working of daily incidents and issues.
•   Re-creation, analysis, troubleshooting, and diagnosis of incidents relating to off-the-shelf and proprietary applications and/or platforms.
•   Determination of root cause of incidents (configuration vs. defect)
•   Liaison with appropriate teams for the development of corrective actions or viable workarounds to resolve incidents
•   Installation of applications in supported environments.
•   Deployment of application upgrades and fixes
•   Responding to automated alerts on the health of systems
•   Executing scheduled or unscheduled tasks relating to operational maintenance and monitoring of applications
•   Performing routine audits of systems for the purpose of preventative maintenance of applications and reporting on their status
•   Adhere and ITIL guidelines for Incident, Problem and Change Management.
•   Effective call management including logging, monitoring / updating, prioritising and resolving calls in a timely fashion.
•   Ensures all work is carried out and documented in accordance with required standards, methods and procedures.
•   Selects appropriately from applicable standards, methods, tools and applications and use accordingly.
•   Communicates fluently orally and in writing and can present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
•   Is able to plan, schedule and monitor work activities in order to meet time and quality targets.
•   Is able to absorb rapidly new technical information, business acumen, and apply it effectively.
•   Good appreciation of wider field of information systems, its use in relevant employment areas and how it relates to the business activities of the employer or client.
•   Actively participate in the firms' performance management and development process co-developing Annual Plans with appointed counselor.
•   Operate in a Lead capacity with the ability to lead and delegate tasks to others in a team environment, while performing hands-on activities as well
•   Manage team workload and allocate resources appropriately
•   Provide advice and guidance to colleagues where required
•   Lead work streams on specific tools or product reviews used across teams
•   Lead discussions and perform tasks associated with support model development and service transition for applicable products
•   Act as escalation point and provide coaching for staff on complex issues
•   Develop processes, work streams, and  maintenance schedules for specific products when necessary
•   Broker communications with other technical teams, managers, business, and other key stake holders when necessary, acting as product representative for Enterprise Applications Management (EAM).
•   Act as point person and/or EAM representative for certain task teams or initiatives
•   Possess a competency level of  'Proficient' or higher in the applicable EY core competencies for the Supervising Associate rank
•   Demonstrates proficiency in verbal and written communication deemed appropriate for level
•   Other activities deemed supervisory in nature

To qualify, candidates must have
•   Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
•   3+ years in Application Management, IT Operational Support
•   Fluent in English language, written and verbal
•   .NET Framework
•   1C Enterprise
•   Active Directory
•   Crystal Reporting
•   Dedicated HW/SAN storage
•   Experience or familiarity with Citrix platform
•   Experience supporting applications in shared or virtual environments
•   Experience with performance monitoring tools and analysis i.e. MS PerfMon
•   General Database Administration knowledge of SQL Server SQL2000/ 2005/ 2008
•   IIS
•   Intermediate SQL knowledge relating to replication setup, DTS, clustering, etc.
•   Microsoft Dynamics AX
•   Microsoft Office products
•   Microsoft Reporting
•   Microsoft Sharepoint
•   Remedial or intermediate .NET programming and/or scripting experience
•   Terminal Services
•   Visual Studio
•   Web Development, XML and Web Services

•   Ability to read and understand code for diagnosis, escalation to level 4 teams
•   Data analysis experience using SQL Enterprise Manager or similar tool
•   Creation of simple queries, running pre-defined scripts, configuration, security, and interpreting logs and traces
•   Knowledge of troubleshooting tools and techniques related to networks and systems i.e. remote access tools, Windows Support tools, connectivity tests, etc.
•   Understanding of various IT environments (Intranet, Internet DV, QA, UA, PR)
•   Analytical and systematic approach to problem solving
•   Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
•   Ability to present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
•   Ability to meet agreed deadlines, with demonstrable productivity
